Dnyanjyoti Gramin Vikas Mandal established on 3 rd January 2000 under Societies Registration Act 1860 and Trust Act 1950. An organization is also registered under Income Tax Act of 1961 under 12A and 80G registrations. Organization is also registered on NITI Aayog portal of central government. Dnyanjyoti is an active member of AFARM, Pune, and Vibha Vani, Delhi, a renowned institutions working in development sector. Dnyanjyoti has actively worked with prominent partner organizations like GOONJ, Delhi and Jansathi Drought Relief Network Maharashtra. Dnyanjyoti has played an active role in supporting various government initiatives in order to bring justice to the marginalized population of rural Maharashtra, especially in Marathwada region which is a drought prone area.


Goal

To strengthen the grass root initiatives for socio up liftment of economically downtrodden, rural women and youth by promoting community based development programmes in the field of health, environment, water consurvation and sanitation and women empowerment.


Objective

1. To create awareness and build capacity of village community to take up the issue of Drinking water and sanitation of their own village and solve by their involvement and contribution towards maintenance and sustainability.


2. To Develop Green, Healthy and open defecation-free village of Jalna district


3. To Take Action for Prevention and Control of Drought. To generates employment in rural area through NREGA for stop migration. To help rural peoples under drought relief program.


4. To Improve their skills through various trainings.


5. To create awareness about various schemes of Govt. for livelihood and provide training on organic farming among the rural farmers of Jalna & Aurangabad District.


6. To help natural resource management.


7. To create awareness and build capacity of rural, women groups and as will as Community Based Organisation.

Since 2000, Organizations has achieved to make a big difference in the lives of rural population focusing on marginal farmers, women, children and youth in developing their life circumstances and creating a big impact to achieve alternative development in various aspects of life.


Organization has achieved to connect 35000 marginal farmers with the various government schemes like seed distribution, financial assistance, credit linkages and other such social securities schemes for women, senior citizens and school going children and youth for scholarships etc.


Dnyanjyoti has worked with the Jalswarajya Prakalp as a supporting and implementing organization which was a project supported by World Bank and implemented in 25 villages of Jalna district on water crisis. Organization has gained a wide experience in conducting PRA practices drought prone villages and effectively formed Village Action Plan (VAP) and implemented grounded solution through Village Water and Sanitation Committee.


Worked under Water and Sanitation Department, Govt of Maharashtra for Swachha Bharat Mission for Jalna district as a District Resource Organization for eradication of Open Defecation with 50 Gram Panchayat and also worked as a monitoring and evaluation organization 500 Gram Panchayat in Satara, Thane, Aurangabad, Beed, Ratnagiri, Washim and Parbhanai districts of Maharashtra.


Dnyanjyoti while doing such developmental activities has evolved an institution and playing a catalyst role in mobilizing grassroots organizations and has played a big role in capacity building and creating impact on scale in rural area with the help of Jansathi Drought Relief Network of grassroots organization which is organized by Sankruti Sanvardhan Mandal and Dilasa organization which was supported by CARING FRIENDS, an active social organization for working in 130 remote villages on sustainable development with the help of 13 NGOs since 1 st Jan 2016.


Dnyanjyoti under Panchayati Raj Institution has worked as a training partner for capacity building and training for over 5700 elected representatives from 450 Gram Panchayat during 2010 to 2014 and Vasundhara Panlot Vikas Yantrana, Pune selected Dnyanjyoti for Bodhalapuri, Mohpuri, Parada, and Dhasalkheda to work on Capacity Building and Training Program during 2011 to 2016. NABARD, Pune selected Dnyanjyoti as a SHPI for 50 SHG formation and distributed 50 lakh loan. Also worked under Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Schemes (MGNEGS) in 60 villages as a Technical Support Organization.
